Four-cylinder Crosstour Priced under $28,000

by Honda in the News on January 30, 2012

The Honda Crosstour provides a unique package for customers who need the versatility of a crossover but prefer a distinctly uncrossover-like exterior, and the automaker recently enhanced the lineup even further with the addition of mpg-boosting four-cylinder models. The folks at College Station Honda Dealer said there’s more good news: Honda has announced an MSRP of $27,655 for the I4 Crosstour EX and $32,805 for the up-level Crosstour EX-L.

According to Houston Used Honda, thanks to Honda’s 2.4-liter I4 engine with its i-VTEC variable valve-timing system, both new Crosstours will be capable of EPA ratings of 21 mpg city/29 mpg highway; that’s a jump of 3 mpg city/2 mpg highway as compared to V6-powered models.

Other features on the fuel-efficient four-cylinder Crosstours include:

  • Auto on/off headlights
  • Bluetooth HandsFreeLink
  • A rearview camera system
  • Projector-beam headlamps
  • A moonroof
  • Second-row climate vents
  • A 360-watt, seven-speaker sound system
  • Reversible cargo-floor panels
  • Steering-wheel-mounted audio, cruise and phone controls
  • 60/40 split rear seats
  • A hidden, removable storage box

The Crosstour EX-L then adds a leather-trimmed interior, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory, memory-linked side-view mirrors that tilt down when the vehicle is put in reverse, a premium audio setup with Kevlar cone speakers and front aluminum dome-type tweeters. Honda’s Satellite-linked Navigation System is optional. Also in the mix with each Crosstour are standard safety technologies such as vehicle stability assist, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, and a full suite of airbags, including side-curtain air bag with a rollover sensor and dual-stage, multiple-threshold front air bags.

All 2012 Honda Crosstour models are on sale now at Honda Dealers in Denver and local dealerships across the country.
