Both the Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe have received a modest refresh for the 2011 model year. Among the changes are revised front and rear fascias to improve aerodynamics. Honda Dealer Maryland says Honda also tweaked the transmission gearing, and both changes have ultimately improved fuel-efficiency. The 2011 Honda Accord sedan with the four-cylinder engine, for example, now achieves 23 miles per gallon in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.
“For 2011, the Accord evolves again with sharpened styling inside and out, fuel economy gains and a broader application of popular features,” said Erik Berkman, vice president of Corporate Planning and Logistics for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “The Accord is designed to deliver a consistently rewarding ownership experience in the areas that matter most to sedan and coupe drivers.” According to Preowned Honda Waterbury, one of those areas that matter most is reliability which is why Hondas maintain such excellent resale value.
The exterior styling changes bring the Accord Coupe and Sedan more in-line with the styling of the Accord Crosstour crossover. Brake lights and bumpers have also been reworked and new wheels are available on V6-equipped models.
New features such as optional steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and a USB Audio Interface will now be available on the Accord Coupe, while all Accord models with the available navigation system will also get a rear view camera system. Albuquerque Certified Honda Accord says it’s features like these that make pre-owned Honda vehicles so appealing to their customers.
While the Honda Accord remains a segment favorite, buyers considering a Nissan Maxima Seattle WA have found that the current Accord features somewhat conservative styling and tamer performance. Yet this mid-life refresh is hoped to keep buyers coming back for more.
