According to Honda Ridgeline Annapolis, the launch of the updated Honda Civic may have been delayed, but Honda is planning to make up for lost time. Unlike the launch of past generations, each 2012 Civic model will be launched within weeks of each other.
John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda, confirmed that the roll out of the Civic will indeed be fast. Honda New Britain said the Civic lineup includes a sedan and coupe, multiple engines, and even a lithium ion hybrid and a natural gas version. Honda will also launch a performance-oriented Si version.
One of the biggest changes coming to the 2012 Civic is the interior. According to Mendel, it was important that the new model followed the same philosophy as past models: “compact yet surprisingly roomy.”
In addition to offering value, Honda Middletown said the next Civic will also offer a little something for everyone. With so many trim levels and powertrains to choose from, the Civic will be able to accommodate a variety of customers.
