Honda Racing Hopes for Positive Outcome

Motorsports is hurting right now, with many automakers pulling out of increasingly costly racing initiatives. Honda, despite its prowess in racing, is also struggling. Currently the automaker is struggling to find a buyer for its Formula One racing team, but without any serious buyers coming forward.

Honda, as well as F1 in general, has faced challenges recently according to Connecticut Honda dealers. Maintaining a F1 racing team has become increasingly costly, while decreasing attendance at many races and dwindling advertisers and sponsors have crippled the sport overall. Due to these pit falls, Hartford Used Cars says Honda has naturally had a hard time in their search to find someone to take over the reins of their F1 team as the automaker hopes to exit the costly sport to reduce costs.

Despite a feeling of hopelessness in upper management, particularly from Honda’s outgoing CEO Takeo Fukui, Honda’s racing team is optimistic that a solution will arise soon. Despite the situation looking grim, some on the team are hinting that things are looking a bit better then they appear.

One viable solution for Honda’s F1 team is a management buyout. The move could put engine supplier Mercedes-Benz into the mix as well. Despite the outcome, many close to the team contest the situation looks positive, as a solution is near. Honda Racing has faced plenty of challenges in recent months, and many are hoping for an adequate solution ahead of upcoming races in Australia and Spain, which would appeal Honda Washington DC customers who are avid F1 enthusiasts.
